DAILY PAINTING: "Let's Roll!"

Now that the collage was sealed, I could begin to paint over it, so I mixed up some acrylics. I knew I wanted a bascially cool palette: cerulean, viridian (with white) and manganese purple. I wanted the handling to be loose, so I mixed just a bit of water in each, along with some matte medium, then I poured it onto the painting, doing a minimum of brush work where needed.

This relieved the flat black and white look and gave me a starting point.
