DAILY PAINTING: Pastel Sketch for "Let's Roll!"

Tuesday, 9-21-15--After I did the color study yesterday, I realized two things: first, I wanted to try alcohol inks on this piece; second, I saw a chance to re-think some of my choices and explore other options to make it even better.

So I did this little pastel thumbnail sketch (on the back of a used envelope) because I wanted to try the same colors in a different arrangement, thinking on paper.

I really liked this sketch and knew this was the direction I wanted to go.
