DAILY PAINTING: 12-02-15 I did this sketch a few days ago, just a pen and ink of a view of Jerusalem. Had no sketch book handy, but hey, loose leaf works!

I intend to turn this into a full scale painting, but in the meantime, I've been thinking about the state of things. And I've been reading. The name means City of Peace, thanks to King David, 3,000 years ago. The hope of the world, and 3 great religions, center there, so my painting will be a prayer for peace. And in its 5,000 year history, the city and its people have seen precious little peace.
