DAILY PAINTING: The commissioned piece, a Texas landscape, is well under way, on a textured canvas that has been given a yellow undercoat. Today, I began to overpaint, using the client's color scheme, and I'm very happy with the progress and the outcome.

Lots of work yet to come, but a very nice beginning!
