imaGINAtion ART

I spent hours designing & then cutting another vellum stencil (for the other portrait), & most of what I did has been a waste of time. I realized--too late!--that the shapes I was using were not right for this area of the painting.

It's frustrating to feel that I haven't made any progress, yet I also know that sometimes you have to get it wrong before you can get it right--like life itself. So I'll tuck those stencils aside (maybe they'll be useful later, who knows?), and I'll make a fresh try tomorrow. A day can make a big difference in the struggle to create, as I've seen so often. So we'll hope for something better tomorrow!
