DAILY PAINTING: I have been away from the studio for the past week because my daughter and her boyfriend have had a break up--poor dear!--so I have been doing what little I can for her.

I have sketched a figure onto the canvas so that you can see where I'm going with this painting. We're having a monster thunderstorm right now--after all, this IS Florida!--so the light is very poor, in spite of the photo lamp.
