DAILY PAINTING: Now that the other painting is finished (see it on my Saatchi site), I've begun the next one. Here's step one: calligraphic lines, which I will cut out and use as a stencil. I found my old calligraphy pen (which I haven't used in years), and I drew out this pattern.

If you think it might be hard to draw this pattern, just imagine how hard it will be to cut it out! I've already begun that tedious process, but I've got to let my poor hand rest for a while. Very labor intensive!
